I need a new hairdo. You could land a jet liner on that forehead. |
It all turned out perfectly, as true love does. I'll share some pictures of our fun throughout this post. If I can figure out how to do that.
AHA. Not so hard! Here are some photos from the bridal shower:
My family. They're pretty, no? |
Anna (above, far left) used her talents in the kitchen to make that beautiful cupcake dress. Eden (above, far right) helped me make the cute banner below. My mom basically did everything else. Also have you ever seen a hotter grandma?
Let's not forget the beautiful bride to be.
Eden thought the sign said Miss Tomrs. Like Al's last name was Tomrs. She just got back from Africa, so we'll let it go. |
Alex's future in-laws own a floral business. Right?
And what's a wedding without a bachelorette party?
We decided on a nautical theme since the groom is a Naval Officer. Whatup Admiral Olson!
She hadn't washed her hair in days, had just come from a workout, and she still looks adorbs. #jealous |
We kicked off the event with a beach bash! Eden and I just couldn't get enough of those adorable signs, so we decided to try our hand at another -- this time commemorating Alex's "Last Sail Before the Veil." Clever, eh?
#astalavistaschuette for more of dis. |
The bottom of my shirt says mate. Get it? |
Later in the day, we sailed to the Yacht Club for a private galley supper.
We had two scalawags (not pictured) ready to man the bar and grill. |
Thanks to Pinterest for the life-saver wrapped
silverware. Those were fun to assemble with an
8 month old.
Walk the plank byczs. Place at the table.
Only a few words are necessary to describe the rest of the evening: Tequilla, Seidl, Nauti, and Eden's routine. We're just glad Grandma made it home. Right mom? Weeee want to paaaarty!
This was fun!
